William Jenkins Becomes Master Member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court

Fort Worth partner William Jenkins has been nominated to serve as a Master of the Elden B. Mahon Inn of Court. He will serve a five-year term, ending in 2021.

William’s nomination as a Master of the Mahon Inn of Court is a testament to the respect his peers have for him. The Inn, which is charted by and affiliated with the American Inns of Court,  is comprised of judges, lawyers, law professors and law students and is designed to improve the skills, ethics and professionalism of the bench and bar.

William is the Managing Partner of the Fort Worth office. William is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer representing clients in courtrooms across Texas and many other states. He has handled many significant cases, including successfully defending several shareholder suits related to the merger of a Texas real estate investment trust with a New York investment company and an investor in a commercial real estate development. William is a member of the inaugural class of the Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame. William’s practice focuses on disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, internal business disputes, real estate and construction matters.  He also has significant experience with both the upstream and midstream segments of the oil and gas industry, having represented E&P companies, oil field services companies, gathering companies, and land owners.
