Biography
Carter Dickson is a litigation associate in Jackson Walker’s Houston office where he focuses on commercial litigation, land acquisition, and alternative dispute resolution. Carter represents businesses, including energy clients and condemnors, in litigation and appellate matters involving federal and state environmental statutes, regulatory compliance, and contractual disputes. He also has experience defending clients in class action and multi-district litigation.
Prior to Jackson Walker, Carter practiced at a national business law firm where he represented high-profile energy clients in state and federal courts regarding eminent domain, property disputes, and business and environmental torts. While at the University of Houston Law Center, he served as Executive Director of the Moot Court Team, and he was a multiple national champion advocate. Carter also previously served as a litigation intern at the Harris County Attorney’s Office and as a law clerk in local boutique law offices.
