Biography
Jeff Connor focuses on guiding clients through the intricacies of private funds, joint ventures, independent sponsor offerings, equity syndications, secondary transactions and M&A transactions from both sponsor and limited partner perspectives. His unique combination of big law firm experience and in-house counsel work with a global private equity advisory firm enables him to deliver clear, practical guidance that bridges the gap between complex legal structures and real-world business objectives.
Jeff’s practice includes representing fund sponsors and institutional investors in fundraising, structuring, and operational matters. He also advises clients on joint venture formations, secondary transactions, independent sponsor offerings, private equity syndications, mergers and acquisitions, and complex investment management arrangements, helping clients evaluate both the legal and commercial implications of strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Jeff served as an investment management counsel at a national law firm. His in-house experience with a global private equity advisory firm provides him with valuable insight into client perspectives and industry practices. This dual background positions him to understand both the legal requirements and commercial considerations that drive successful investment transactions.
