Jackson Walker to Host American Bar Association Program

Jackson Walker is hosting an American Bar Association (ABA) program titled, “Intellectual Property Litigation in Texas: Video Games, Damages, Patents and the Supreme Court” on February 20, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Presented by the Intellectual Property Litigation Regional CLE Committee of the ABA Section of Litigation, the program will take place at the Jackson Walker’s Austin office, which is located at 100 Congress Ave., Suite 1100.

The program will address intellectual property litigation practice in Texas, which has the largest patent litigation docket and the second largest video game industry in the country, as well as a rapidly growing tech industry and numerous Fortune 500 companies. The program will also address the future of “soft intellectual property” law through recent United States Supreme Court decisions and the video game industry. There will also be a panel of experts to offer tips and tactics for recovering damages in intellectual property litigation. A cocktail reception will follow with network opportunities.
