Corporate counsel have identified Jackson Walker partner Michelle Moore Smith among the top 240 attorneys in the nation for delivering the best client service in BTI Consulting Group’s 24th annual list of “BTI Client Service All-Stars.”
In distinguishing the 2025 honorees, BTI directed in-depth interviews with more than 350 top legal decision-makers at large organizations with $700 million or more in revenue. To be selected for inclusion, BTI Client Service All-Stars must consistently engage their clients, invest time in understanding their businesses, be savvy, share their opinions and provide clear direction, and anticipate their needs. Recognition is based solely on interviews with clients, and no submissions, referrals, suggestions, or payments are accepted for inclusion.

Michelle was selected for her outstanding work in complex real estate transactions, where she represents owners, investors, private equity funds, financial institutions, and borrowers in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and property management matters, with a particular focus on negotiating sophisticated office leases for both existing assets and buildings under development. Her deep experience spans office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family and mixed-use developments, condominium projects, and undeveloped land.
