Gracie Garcia is a trial attorney based in Fort Worth, Texas, known for her precision, presence, and commanding courtroom advocacy. As one of the few women practicing high-stakes commercial litigation in the area, Gracie brings a bold and strategic edge to every caseâleveraging her distinct perspective to deliver results that matter.
Gracie represents both individuals and businesses across Texas and beyond in state and federal courts, in a wide range of commercial disputes, ranging from breach of contract, fraud, negligence claims to personal injury, employment, and insurance claims.

Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Gracie was a litigation associate at Kelly Hart & Hallman, LLP, in Fort Worth, Texas. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Rebeca Martinez at the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio and interned with the Texas Attorney Generalâs Office in Fort Worthâexperiences that deepened her understanding of the legal challenges facing todayâs businesses.

- Insurance Defense â Represented insurance carriers in coverage disputes and first-party claims, including alleged violations of the Texas Insurance Code and DTPA. Successfully argued two summary judgment motions, resulting in full dismissal of all claims.
- Financial Services â Represented financial institutions in enforcement and collection of business loans, including SBA-backed loans. Secured multiple judgments against borrowers and guarantors.

- Akins v. Valley Proteins, Inc., No. 2:21-CV-193-Z, 2022 WL 2292729 (N.D. Tex. June 23, 2022) (represented employer against employee’s claims for wrongful termination, negligence, gross negligence, defamation, and violations of drug-testing procedures set forth in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration; the Court granted the employer’s motion to dismiss under Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(6) and dismissed the employee’s claims with prejudice)
- VR Venue Ltd. Partnership v. Vietxican Investments, LLC, 2021 WL 261516, at *1 (Tex. Dist.) (represented property owner against tenant and guarantor in connection with tenant’s failure to comply with lease obligations; the Court granted landlord’s motion for summary judgment)
- Telsmith, Inc. v. 37 Bldg. Products, Ltd., No. 02-19-00220-CV, 2020 WL 719445 (Tex. App.–Fort Worth Feb. 13, 2020, no pet.) (represented building company at the trial court level and on appeal in connection with claims related to defective equipment; successfully defended against manufacturer’s motion to compel arbitration based on arbitration provision in agreement between manufacturer and dealership)
