Biography

Jamie Fowler is an associate in the Finance & Banking practice of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office. Jamie has experience in a wide variety of real estate and finance matters, specifically related to commercial real estate acquisitions, commercial real estate construction and acquisition financing, and asset-based financings.

Prior to Jackson Walker, Jamie practiced in the real estate and banking group of an international law firm. While in law school, he was a law clerk at a mortgage lending company and at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he performed legal analysis for the FDIC’s Open Bank Division cases. He has also served as a graduate assistant at the University of Mississippi AICPA Research Library and an audit intern at KPMG.

Jamie provides legal counsel in finance and banking, with experience that includes:

  • Advise and represent lenders in commercial real estate construction, refinance, modification, and workout involving multi-family, retail, office, hotel, condominium, senior housing, and industrial properties.
  • Counsel lenders in commercial asset-based financings across diverse industries, including oil and gas, logistics, auto dealerships, and dental practices.
  • Represent buyers, sellers, and developers in the acquisition, disposition, and development of both commercial and residential real estate.
  • Work closely with special servicers on securitized commercial loan transactions, ensuring resolution of complex matters.
