Biography
John Stevenson represents clients in various real estate transactions in Central Texas and across the United States, with an emphasis on real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, and construction matters. As part of his practice, John represents landlords and tenants in retail and office lease negotiations, and borrowers in various real estate financing transactions.
John’s clients include residential and commercial developers, home builders, institutional investors, family offices and publicly traded companies, across multiple asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, mixed-use, master planned developments, build-to-rent, raw land, farm and ranch, and single-family residential.
In addition to his real estate practice, John has provided general counsel services to small and mid-sized businesses. He has represented both the seller and the purchaser in business sales, particularly in transactions involving real estate assets. He uses his experience to thoughtfully and practically guide clients through complicated transactions and is adept at identifying deal-specific risks.
