Jackson Walker represented D.R. Horton, Inc. as the company’s lead real estate counsel in the acquisition of Riggins Custom Homes, one of the largest builders in Northwest Arkansas, for a cash purchase of approximately $107 million.

The homebuilding assets of Riggins Custom Homes and its related entities include approximately 3,000 lots, 170 homes in inventory, and 173 homes in sales order backlog. D.R. Horton plans to combine the Riggins operations with the company’s current platform in Northwest Arkansas.

The Jackson Walker team was led by Tim Taylor and included Lenora DuBose, Spence Howden, Allyn Hurley, and John Stevenson III.
