Biography

Lorin Williams Combs draws on more than 20 years of experience as in-house and outside counsel to advise commercial real estate developers and investors. Specifically, she focuses on handling the acquisition, development, financing, operation, and disposition of multifamily, student housing, retail, data center, office, and mixed-use and condominium projects.

As the former general counsel of a real estate development firm focused on multifamily and student housing projects, Lorin managed in-house and external legal teams related to complex real estate and corporate transactions. She also handled corporate governance matters, including entity formation and registration, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, and non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, as well as litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Prior to serving as in-house counsel, Lorin practiced at a national corporate law firm, where she concentrated on multifamily, retail, office and mixed-use/condominium developments, commercial agreements, and finance.
