Mahira’s practice focuses on commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of office, retail and mixed use projects. Mahira represents both landlords and tenants in negotiating commercial lease agreements for office, retail and ground leases. Her practice also includes representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions and dispositions of undeveloped property, office buildings, retail centers, mixed-use and multifamily use properties.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Mahira served as a judicial intern in the Texas First Court of Civil Appeals, and a judicial intern to the Hon. Nancy F. Atlas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Jackson Walker is representing a partnership between Radom Capital and JPMorgan in leasing the mixed-use project Montrose Collective, which broke ground on February 10 and is expected to be completed in late 2021.
