Biography
Sara Thornton focuses her practice on a wide range of real estate and real estate finance matters.
Sara regularly represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions across Texas and the United States, and has experience working with clients on landlord-tenant disputes. Sara represents purchasers, owners, and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, and development of a variety of improved and unimproved real property, and she also represents lenders and borrowers in connection with lending transactions secured by or involving real property.
While in law school, Sara clerked for the Honorable Mary Lou Robinson at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She also was a legal intern for the Washington Legal Foundation, served as a law clerk at the Federal Trade Commission, and was a Judicial Staff Counsel intern in the Tarrant County Criminal Courts.
