Biography

Sarah Christian is a Partner in the Finance & Banking group of Jackson Walker’s Austin office. Sarah primarily represents banks, agents, financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers in syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, including revolving and term loans, letter of credit facilities, asset-based lending, working capital lines and acquisition finance. Sarah also has experience with property-assessed clean energy (PACE) financing, tax credit monetization, and derivatives transactions.

Sarah’s experience spans diverse industries, including technology, media and telecommunications, solar, wind and other renewable energies, aircraft, healthcare, hospitality, food service, and retail. Additionally, Sarah has closed over one billion dollars in green loan financings.

  • Represented bank lender in connection with $60 million syndicated credit facility for use in datacenter acquisition and development

  • Represented green energy specialty finance provider in the placement of $450 million in green investments with institutional investors
  • Represented bank, as administrative agent, in connection with a $25 million revolving line of credit for a provider of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and wireless infrastructure.
  • Counsel to solar-energy focused PACE financier in the development and deployment of loan funds
  • Counsel to energy, retail and technology clients in connection with programmatic derivatives structures
  • Represented residential real estate developer in the placement of $90 million of its senior secured notes
