Biography

M. Keith Branyon practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship and tax, with particular emphasis on the taxation of individuals, estates and trusts and all types of transfer taxes (estate, gift and generation skipping taxes). He is also an experienced litigator in probate and guardianship cases, including will contests and guardianship disputes.

Practice Expertise

Mr. Branyon has practiced in the areas of probate, guardianship, estate planning and tax for 33 years and is a frequent speaker at seminars hosted by the State Bar of Texas and related groups.

Mr. Branyon literally wrote the book on Texas probate. Texas Probate – Forms and Procedures, first published in 2008 and supplemented annually, is used by hundreds of probate practitioners in Texas.
