San Antonio managing partner Julia Mann was featured in Invest: San Antonio to discuss the firm’s strategic and economic growth driven by the energy, tech, and education sectors, as well as talent retention and deeper community ties.

She shared that Jackson Walker has made notable strides in San Antonio, with the addition of three new partners and the creation of a new public finance practice group, to better serve clients in this region.

Julia said that data centers are also an area of growth.

“We’ve focused on supporting projects that bring power and water to businesses so they can grow,” she said.

The energy industry continues to be a key sector to fuel growth in San Antonio and South Texas. “We support many of those companies from a professional services perspective,” Julia said. “They’re helping build the resources needed to power Texas’ overall growth, and that’s an important role for us.”

Julia said that technology also plays a central role, and integrating AI into operations helps serve clients with increasing amounts of valuable insights. “AI allows us to share that knowledge across all our offices efficiently, which makes us more effective and ensures we’re delivering the best possible service.”

She also noted the strategic priorities for maintaining growth include continuing community involvement, retaining and supporting talent, and expanding the depth of practice areas in order to meet client needs.
