Jackson Walker represented Verzatec Group in its acquisition of Ultra Tech Extrusions of Tennessee, Inc., a manufacturer of extruded edge banding, T-molding, and custom profiles for the furniture industry.
The acquisition expands Verzatec Group’s extrusion expertise into the furniture segment, where Ultra Tech has cultivated longstanding relationships with some of the largest manufacturers in the world. Through this transaction, Verzatec gains new technical capabilities and a complementary product portfolio that strengthens its competitive position in the market.
Jackson Walker collaborated on the transaction with Gifak Asesores, a law firm based in Monterrey, Mexico, led by managing partner J. Enrique Gonzalez and senior associate Enrique Gonzalez-Ortiz. Gifak serves as outside general counsel to the Verzatec Group in Mexico.
