California Appellate Court Grants Anti-SLAPP Motion to Dismiss Case Brought by Guest on ‘Dr. Phil’

Glover represented Dr. Phil McGraw, Peteski Productions, Inc., and CBS Media Ventures in a case brought by a former guest who alleged the staff of Dr. Phil recommended and arranged for her treatment at Turn-About Ranch, where she claims she was sexually assaulted.

On August 19, 2022, the Los Angeles Superior Court granted Jackson Walker’s anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss and is set to rule on the request for attorney’s fees and costs.

The case is Hannah Archuleta v. Dr. Phillip McGraw, An Individual, et al., No. 21STCV39489.
