Jackson Walker represented Batbox Holdings, Inc. (Batbox USA) in securing $7.3 million in Series A funding, including investments from EMERGING Fund and MG Partners.
Founded in 2019, Batbox is a baseball “eatertainment” concept that combines hospitality, sports, and an immersive baseball experience. Currently a popular destination in Mexico, the company’s first U.S. venue will open in Addison, Texas, in early 2025. The Series A funding will drive the company’s plans to establish more than 25 locations in the U.S. by 2030 in areas like Dallas, Houston, Boston, and other major league baseball markets.
“We’re thrilled to have been part of Batbox’s Series A funding round. With their proven track record in Mexico and their ambitious expansion plans in the U.S., Batbox is poised to become a major player in the industry,” said Austin partner Carlos Treviño, who co-led the Jackson Walker team. “We’re excited to continue supporting Batbox’s growth and success.”
The Jackson Walker team included partners Carlos R. Treviño and Michael L. Laussade and associate Rachel Saunders. For more information, view the news release.
