Jackson Walker proudly announces the selection of Amanda Crouch and Joel Glover to the “Up-and-Coming 100: 2021 Texas Rising Stars” list. In addition to being named to the “Up-and-Coming 100” list, Amanda was also recognized among the “Up-and-Coming 50: 2021 Women Texas Rising Stars” list.

The “Up-and-Coming 100” list recognizes outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, and selection is based on who received the highest point totals during the patented multiphase process used to identify the “Texas Rising Stars” of 2021.

Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes only 2.5% of Texas attorneys who either are 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less as “Rising Stars.” To be selected for inclusion, candidates are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including experience, results for their clients, representative clients, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, their position with the law firm, bar and professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, and their education and employment background. After the patented selection process is complete, results are validated by a third-party organization, resulting in a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys. Meet Amanda

Amanda N. Crouch is an associate in the San Antonio office focused on commercial litigation. She regularly handles a wide range of matters, including oil and gas disputes, creditor representation, financial institution disputes, life insurance disputes, and defending personal injury claims. In addition to being named a “Texas Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers since 2019, she has been recognized among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2021 and Scene in S.A.‘s “Best S.A. Lawyers” and “Rising Star Lawyers” lists since 2015.

Outside of her practice, Amanda volunteers her time with the Junior League of San Antonio and the North East Educational Foundation. Last year, Jackson Walker selected Amanda to participate in the Pathfinder Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. In recognition of her work with the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, she was honored with the Belva Lockwood Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association in 2017.

Meet Joel

Joel R. Glover is an associate in the Houston office who works extensively in the areas of financial services, energy and natural resources, media, intellectual property, and entertainment. His experience includes representing clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, trademark and copyright infringement litigation, individual and corporate fiduciary litigation, and media litigation. He has been named a “Texas Rising Star” since 2018 and was recognized among H Texas‘ “Top Lawyers of Houston” in 2020.

In addition to his practice, Joel volunteers his time with the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law, the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s Media, Privacy, and Advertising Law Committee, Alley Theatre, and the West Point Society of Greater Houston.
