Ruth S. Thomson
Ruth Thomson is an attorney in the Corporate & Securities group of Jackson Walker’s San Antonio office.
Ruth spent a summer in the legal department of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain, working with international divestitures and acquisitions. She went on to conduct in-depth economic research as a research assistant for professor Martha Nussbaum, an Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago. She served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Carlos F. Lucero in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, a role in which Ruth assisted in conducting legal research, reviewing and summarizing briefings, and preparing memoranda and drafts incident to the preparation of civil and criminal opinions, jury charges, and orders.
Ruth was a Summer Associate with Jackson Walker in 2016.
