Biography
Gabriela Barake is an attorney in the Trial & Appellate Litigation section of Jackson Walker’s Houston office. She offers experience in the areas of fiduciary litigation, probate and trust administration, general business litigation, and employment disputes.
Gabriela’s practice concentrates on the representation of trustees, administrators, guardians, and executors in probate, trust, and guardianship matters. She is passionate about helping individuals who suffer from dementia, mental illness, physical and mental limitations, and other disabilities, and makes it a priority to ensure they have a guardian to protect their needs.
Gabriela also represents individuals and companies in general business litigation and employment disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She handles claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She also has experience with mediations, workplace investigations, unemployment and wage claim hearings before the Texas Workforce Commission, and collective action trials.
