Biography

With a diverse background in litigation, Gracie Garcia is a versatile trial attorney who combines pragmatism, charisma, and dedication to deliver strategic advice and favorable verdicts to a wide array of clients ranging from individuals to businesses in the public and private sectors. Gracie’s practice includes general business disputes involving claims such as breach of contract, negligence, and fraud, real estate-related disputes involving purchase and sale contracts, lease agreements, and construction contracts, and lender-related disputes involving the enforcement and collection of financial obligations. Gracie also has experience defending against personal injury claims, employment claims, and insurance claims.

Understanding that every client has different goals and needs, Gracie is able to assess every aspect of a matter with a keen eye toward detail in order to develop the best legal strategy possible, whether it be an aggressive yet persuasive litigation approach in trial, mediation, or arbitration. When other areas of law beyond litigation are implicated, Gracie works across disciplines with colleagues in other legal areas of service such as bankruptcy, healthcare, or transactional law.

Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Gracie was a litigation associate at Kelly Hart & Hallman, LLP in Fort Worth, Texas. While in law school, Gracie served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebeca Martinez at the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas, and also interned for the Texas Attorney General in Fort Worth. These experiences have helped broaden Gracie’s knowledge and understanding of legal issues in the business industry.
