Grant Johnson is an associate in the Dallas office where he represents clients—including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and individuals—in complex and general commercial litigation. Grant has experience in a wide range of litigation in both federal and state court, including litigation related to banking and financial services companies, disputes arising from energy partnerships and joint ventures, life insurance litigation, and general contract disputes.
Grant also has experience representing lenders in litigation related to lending practices, state and federal fair debt collection practices, mortgage banking and servicing, consumer protection, credit reporting practices, as well as property tax and title disputes. His practice has included representing clients in individual cases, as well as class actions.
Grant earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Grant worked as an extern for the Honorable William D. Stiehl, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Illinois. He also interned for the Honorable Dan Moore of the 173rd District Court in Texas.
