Heather M. Heartfield
Heather Heartfield is an attorney in the litigation section of Jackson Walker’s Houston office, with a practice focused on complex cases at the trial and appellate levels.
Heather has represented clients in commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including matters involving antitrust issues, Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblowing, employee benefits and executive compensation, toxic torts, and insurance defense.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Heather served as Chambers Attorney for Justice Evelyn V. Keyes in the Texas First Court of Appeals, where she wrote proposed majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions; panel memoranda; and orders in civil and criminal appeals. Heather also previously served as Staff Attorney for the First Court of Appeals, where she wrote proposed opinions and participated in submission conferences.
Heather also received an OnRamp Fellowship with an international law firm, which led to a full-time position with that firm.
