Biography

Sara Thornton focuses her practice on a wide range of real estate matters.

Sara regularly represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions across Texas and the United States, and works with clients on landlord-tenant disputes. Sara represents owners in solar development projects, including the negotiation of leases, power purchase agreements, energy service agreements and related documents. She also represents purchasers, owners, and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, and development of a variety of improved and unimproved real property.

During law school, Sara was a legal intern for the Washington Legal Foundation, served as a law clerk at the Federal Trade Commission, and was a Judicial Staff Counsel intern in the Tarrant County Criminal Courts. After graduation, Sara clerked for the Honorable Mary Lou Robinson at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
