Biography
Tori Emery is an attorney in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice of Jackson Walker’s Houston office. Tori has experience representing clients in complex litigation matters in federal and state courts across the country, working extensively in the areas of intellectual property, media, entertainment, and energy.
Tori has extensive experience advising her clients in all phases of litigation. Tori’s attention to detail and strategic counsel are invaluable assets to the team’s success and have been instrumental in securing wins for clients on both sides of the “v.” – including successfully opposing applications for temporary and preliminary injunctions on behalf of tech start-up clients, securing early-stage dismissal of defamation claims on behalf of media clients, and obtaining millions of dollars to resolve commercial disputes on behalf of corporate clients.
Before her legal career, Tori attended the University of Arkansas where she obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering and was a member of the Razorback softball team. After graduating, Tori returned to Texas to attend Baylor Law School, where she was an active member of the Baylor Law Advocacy Program and the Baylor Law Review. During law school, Tori also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Alan D. Albright.
