In 2018, she was selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Pathfinder Program.

Dallas labor & employment partner John Jansonius stated, “Shelisa has demonstrated time and again the ability to manage complex projects and lead a team. She has technical skills, relationship skills, and substantive legal knowledge to efficiently guide employers through challenging needs involving a changing workforce.”

In recognition of her practice, Shelisa has been named among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers. She obtained her B.A., with distinction, and J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Tiana also handles the real estate component of bankruptcy cases, including workouts and restructurings on behalf of landlords and tenants involved in Chapter 11 reorganizations.

“Tiana has become an invaluable part of the team. By endearing herself to one of our clients, she caused a significant expansion to the leasing workstream. That’s great leadership on her part that not only benefits two practice groups but also the entire firm,” Houston bankruptcy partner Matthew Cavenaugh noted.

She obtained her B.A., with honors, from the University of Florida and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
