Biography
Pamela Madere is a partner in Jackson Walker’s Real Estate & Land Use section, representing clients before state and local governments. A significant portion of her practice involves representing owners and developers of real property in land use and governmental affairs issues and working with companies on site selection, entitlements review, and negotiations with local cities and counties and elected officials on corporate expansions including data centers, office, manufacturing and industrial uses.
Pamela defends the interests of owners and developers of real property before city, county, and state authorities. She develops strategies for clients dealing with real estate contracts, zoning, subdivisions, site plans, development permits, development agreements, economic/incentive agreements, annexation, easements, condemnation, Municipal Utility Districts, environmental matters, water and wastewater regulations, and transportation issues across the state of Texas.
Pamela has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Law School where she assisted with teaching a course on negotiations. She currently serves as Director and former General Counsel of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and is Past Chair of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Past President of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and Immediate Past President of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
