Jackson Walker represented Handling Systems and Conveyors, Inc. (“HSC”) in its acquisition by HKW, a middle‑market private equity firm focused on growth companies.
HSC is a designer, manufacturer, installer and service provider of crane, hoist, conveyor and tooling solutions serving aerospace & defense, industrial manufacturing and transportation end markets. HKW acquired HSC as part of its strategy to invest in technical industrial businesses positioned to benefit from increasing demand for automation and in-plant productivity. The transaction positions HSC to continue executing its long-term growth strategy with the support of HKW’s operational and investment resources.
Andy Everett, President and CEO of HSC, stated in the press release, “Partnering with HKW provides us with additional resources to expand our capabilities while continuing to deliver the high level of service our customers expect. We are excited to enter this next chapter alongside a partner that supports our team and long-term vision for growth.”
HSC was represented by a Jackson Walker team led by Corporate & Securities attorney Natalie Kosydar, with support from Corporate & Securities associates Madison Alexander and Mica B. Yinger and Tax partner Aaron Pinegar.
