Victoria Argeroplos is an associate in Jackson Walker’s Houston office with a practice focused on bankruptcy, restructuring, and business litigation. Victoria has represented a range of clients including freight forwarders, contractors, commercial landlords, real estate investment trusts, loan servicers, homeowners, business partners, and financial institutions in various commercial contract disputes. In both state and federal courts, Victoria helps creditors obtain and enforce judgments on debts of various structures. As a bankruptcy practitioner, Victoria began her career representing landlords and financial institutions in small business chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. At Jackson Walker, Victoria has developed her debtor-side practice through representation of chapter 11 debtors in one of the busiest complex chapter 11 bankruptcy venues in the nation. Victoria often serves as local counsel, advising co-counsel outside of Texas on the ins and outs of the Southern District of Texas. Victoria has experience guiding debtors through pre-packaged and traditional chapter 11 cases in industries such as retail, real estate, oil and gas, and healthcare.
Victoria also has extensive experience in post-confirmation litigation, often involving tax, insurance, indemnity, and other commercial contract issues. Victoria’s strong presence in the courtroom and her focus on the “nuts and bolts” make her a successful advocate for clients throughout the chapter 11 process. These skills are accreted by her experience representing both lenders and borrowers, ensuring that Victoria’s clients are well represented both in and out of the courtroom.
