Jackson Walker successfully represented Prophet Equity, a Southlake, Texas-based private equity firm, in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Francis Drilling Fluids, Ltd., a Lafayette, Louisiana-based provider of energy services supporting both onshore and offshore drilling activities throughout the United States. The acquisition was accomplished pursuant to a Chapter 11 Section 363 process in the U.S. Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. The transaction closed on December 31, 2018.
