Jackson Walker is pleased to announce the selection of Minoo S. Blaesche, Paisley Park, and Brian D. Pettis to participate in training programs offered by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
Beginning March 2023, Minoo will participate in the Fellows Program, a year-long professional development program for high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds to gain leadership experience and build relationships. The program consists of two class meetings, regional meetings, learning experiences, leadership lunches, virtual in-house / law firm sessions, and meetings with accountability partners. Upon completing the program, Fellows are eligible to join the Fellows Alumni Network to help plan and participate in CLE, mentoring, pro bono, and LCLD Member development programs.
Paisley and Brian will begin their participation in the Pathfinder Program in March 2023. The professional development series provides early-career diverse attorneys with foundational leadership skills, career development strategies, and tips on building professional networks and relationships. Throughout the program, Pathfinders will attend two class meetings, regional and virtual learning sessions, e-learning modules, and meetings with Program Facilitators and peer circles.
Formed in 2009, the LCLD is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD’s action programs, which span the journey from law school to partnership, are designed to attract, inspire, and nurture talent in society and within its organizations, thereby helping a new and more diverse generation of attorneys rise to positions of leadership.

Meet Minoo
Dallas partner Minoo S. Blaesche focuses on business and commercial litigation. She handles a wide array of complex litigation for a variety of clients, including high-stakes matters for many financial institutions. In 2021, she was selected to participate in the Dallas Bar Association’s WE LEAD program. Outside of her practice, Minoo serves as an avid volunteer for Cycle for Survival and Dallas CASA.
Minoo obtained both her B.A., with distinction, and J.D. from the University of Virginia. .
Meet Paisley
Houston associate Paisley Park is a corporate & securities attorney with experience in assisting clients in various business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, private offerings, and startup counseling. Prior to joining Jackson Walker, she practiced at one of the Big Four accounting firms, providing tax services focusing on taxation of partnership, transactional tax planning, and tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
Paisley is licensed in both Missouri and Texas. Paisley obtained her B.S. from George Mason University, her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and her LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law.
Meet Brian
San Antonio associate Brian D. Pettis advises public and private companies, investors, issuers, sponsors, and underwriters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, startups, and private investment funds. He also has experience as outside general counsel for small companies and family offices, and in the migration of companies from California to Texas. He is licensed in both California and Texas.
Brian obtained his B.S., cum laude, from Bellevue University and J.D., summa cum laude, from Santa Clara University School of Law.
