Biography
Alicia Duleba is an employment attorney and litigator who takes pride in working with companies to achieve their goals with respect to employment matters. From counseling on human resources issues to defending complex employment litigation claims, she has experience helping businesses in a variety of industries comply with rules, regulations and statutes impacting the employment relationship.
Alicia has experience representing employers in a full range of employment law matters such as defending employee claims in state and federal court; representing clients before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Texas Workforce Commission – Civil Rights Division, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Department of Labor. Her experience includes preparing and auditing employee handbooks and personnel policies; counseling and formulating preventative strategies; handling mediations and settlement negotiations; and drafting and interpreting employment contracts, including non-competition agreements, and unemployment compensation claims. Alicia counsels employers in all aspects of the employment process, from individual hiring, performance management and termination decisions to large scale reductions in force.
She represents employers in a wide variety of industries, including, but not limited to, retail, construction, healthcare, media, banking, service, technology, entertainment and real estate.
