Art Cavazos, Jr. represents clients in complex financial transactions and general corporate matters including commercial bank loans, public and private securities offerings, derivatives transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and technology licensing and commercialization.
Art’s clients include administrative agents and other institutional lenders, corporate borrowers, technology startups, and companies from a broad range of industries including healthcare, oil and gas, real estate, construction and telecommunications.
Art’s significant finance experience includes negotiating, structuring and documenting syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, revolvers, term loans, acquisition financings, commercial real estate and mortgage loans, reserve based loans, asset based loans, second-lien term loans, mezzanine loans, distressed workouts and bankruptcy financings. Art also has experience with asset purchases, equity purchases, entity formations, intellectual property licensing, note purchases, subscription agreements and other business transactions.
